What I Did Over Summer Vacation

Watching the news recently on Lebanon, Hezbollah and Israel, D mentions that a classmate has gone to Lebanon this summer. She was born there and has relatives there. Imagine going on summer vacation and the airport gets blown apart, and bombs keep dropping, and now you have no idea how you are going to get the f* out of that country and back home again. Jeesh. What kind of life-altering experience that must be for a 6th grader and her family, I wonder?
